What is Georgia's stance on breed specific legislation??

If you can link me to sites that state exactly where Georgia stands on this situation, that would be great!! I am doing a report on this and can't find a clear answer.

Last year (2005) in Georgia, House Representative Coach Williams authored Bill 78 to ban pit bulls. To date, the bill has been pulled and will not be considered in the 2006 session. Representative Jill Chambers is co-sponsoring House Bill 1497 to combat the irresponsible owner, not the dog.
