What are your thoughts on Prison Poker Cards?
I was reading online today about how Flordia has now started handing out decks of cards with cold cases on them in hopes that immates will be able to help them solve them...what do you think? Do you think it will work why or why not? Below is the yahoo news site for it...

I'm not sure if it will work, but it sounds like a good idea. People love to talk, and I'm sure that while in jail prisoners talk about other crimes that they committed or their friends have committed and did not get convicted for. If a prisoner knows details about these cold cases and are willing to come forward, then let them. WIthout these cards, they will think people are just bragging about stuff to make them seem tougher. Some prisoners may be plagues on society, but maybe some will help close cases and bring closure to families that are hurting.
We all want justice carried out, but it would be better if the inmates got something positive rather than more reminders of violence and victims. They need rehabilitation programs and help learning life and job skills before they are released--as most will be.
Then there's the awful fact that being a stool pigeon in prison will likely get you killed.
