Why dont paedophiles get longer sentences in the UK like in the US?
It really seems that the British justice system is a farce and a joke when it comes to crimes agaisnt children. I have seen men go down for life in the US for years of abuse, here they get 6 years, do 3, and get protected housing when they are released. Is it simply a lack of space? Can we not put these people on boats or to work? It really seems like America has it more sorted it terms of zero tolerance. When will we toughen up and get as predatory as these monsters?

Simple answer is that the U.K. is soft on crime; The bias is towards the criminal and not the victim. We must, after all, protect the human rights of the criminal! It's a crazy, crazy system!
Here in the US they frequently leave the correctional facilities a lot sooner than they should due to overcrowding issues.
It's because we in the U.K are too lack in our laws against them,Personally I'd let a crowd of mothers rip them to shreds.There are campaigns,such as,Sarah's Law,that people are trying to impliment,but until then,we have to rely on judges having the sense enough to jail them for a very long time!
THEY'RE LUCKY WE HAVE LAWS THAT GIVE THEM A LITTLE PROTECTION IN THE U.S. OTHER WISE WE'D CUT OFF THEIR NUTS.
Because of overcrowed prison, too many issues with Legal and illegal immigrants...and it seems that being a legal immigrant is more of a crime than being a peodophile

Our sentences are generally less than those of the U.S. While murderers and rapists are released after serving only a few years, it simply doesn't make sense to hand down disproportionate sentences to paedophiles. Remember, too, that prison is a particularly unpleasant experience for them, as nobody wants to be their friend and they are going to be general targets of abuse as far as other inmates are concerned. Those relatively few years must seem to them like a long, long time.
I don't think anyone knows- its probably flamin human rights at the bottom of it- there's always some do-gooder in the middle somewhere.
Prison is our newest industry. Each state makes money on the people in county jails. Once they are sentenced they sit in County jail until there is bed room in the prisons. And the counties are paid money each day for each prisoner waiting to go to prison. And that way they get more money from the Federal Government. What a rackit! And people wonder where their tax dollars go.
I agree, the justice system is a farce, the fact of the matter is that the justice system is really run by a small amount of Judges and depending on his thoughts alone the sentencing is given out, I say down with Judges and in with multiple members committee's to hand out sentencing.
in my opinion paedophiles should all be clinically castrated!
I live in the UK and I swear it is run by paedophiles or they are very close friends of paedophiles. It ABSOLUTELY STINKS.
because our court system suck they get a pat on the back and a don't do that again and told to go home or here is a passport go an skip the country we want come and find you in a hurry
