What do you think of this healthcare issue?
Please read this link, its about a lady who was responsible w/ money but after ovarian cancer and also being insured she still had to file for bankruptcy.

What are your thoughts on this? Should she have handled the situation differently such as moving to Canada or changing insurance companies or so forth. I just feel bad for her and I hope to never be like that, but you never know it can happen to anyone.

This happens everyday, thousands of people are affected by Health related issues.
Support house bill HR676, call your congressman and senators, tell them to pass National Healthcare for all Americans.
No one should have to worry about becoming financially ruined because they get sick.
We need to do away with insurance companies.
The article didn't explain the story well, but I'll tell you one thing. You can't just move to Canada and get free health care. The Canadian embassy has a website. Check it out.
Since I worked my butt off and can afford anything health care wise for me and my wife til we die, I do not care. There are too many people on earth right now, if they be like to die, let them do it and decrease the surplus population.
That's the sort of thing bankruptcy is made for. Note that no health care system in the world pays for all treatment for all illnesses, and if you're pushing for universal health insurance (I am) there's a rationing trade-off: to pay for a lot of immunizations, for instance, the budget often gets cut in areas like this, so if you're planning to have ovarian cancer, you'll have to choose your country carefully.
