How do i copyright a recipe?
in uk.
Answers:
A recipe can't be copyrighted.
You can't copyright a recipe as it is unenforceable. You have to do what KFC and Paul Newman do; keep it a secret from everyone except your corporate sponsor.
The best thing to do is to visit a bank with a business plan to develop the recipe yourself. Once you have developed it you can then start to sell the recipe to the highest bidder, as a supplier. That way you get to keep the recipe a secret by dealing exclussively with that supermarket
Maybe its different in the UK, but I don't think a recipe can be copyrighted.
You don't.

Go to the berr website below, which was formerly the department of trade and industry at the link below. It can be an expensive process. Good luck.
You can look at the UK Patent Office website which covers patents, trade marks, copyright, etc - www.ipo.gov.uk.
However, the site states:
Copyright applies to
* Computing and the internet
* Photographs
* TV and Films
* Art
* Written work
* Music
* Theatre
* Spoken word
