If i have temporary guardianship of my cousin that is 16 yrs old?

do i need full guardianship of her to keep her in our home .

Answers:
I would consult with a lawyer to find out more. Depending on the situation you may retain temporary guardianship untill your cousin is 18, but full guardianship would make the situation more definet. Even with full guardianship, if other family members take you to court and your cousin is interested in living with them the situation may change.

That depends entirely on what form your 'temporary' guardianship takes? If there is a timelimit, such as until the court decides permanent placement, then no.

If, however, it is until such time as the parents' rights are terminated, then you'll need to petition the court to extend the period of guardianship.
