Buyer ripped me off!! She withdrew her payment AFTER I sent item and is refusing to pay !?

It was just in an envelope regular mail (it was a gift card) and so I didn't get tracking.. The seller after like 4 days she revoked her payment .. AFTER I had already sent the item!! It's been about 12 days and now she's claiming she "didn't get the item." I'm so angry!! I filed reports on Ebay but all they say is "some action will be taken on her account that they can't tell me" and that MAYBE I can get my final value fee back.. which is like $4 or $5 ! Do I have any freaking rights here?? Is there anything I can do without the actual Post Office tracking ????? I was sending packages that day so I actually went into the post office but sent it regular mail in a envelope

Answers:
Always get a confirmation of delivery when sending something you have sold or returning something you bought.

call the place that the gift card is from, and report it stolen.
Let that be a lesson to you. Don't send it until you have the money in hand, irrevocably. Send your product with delivery confirmation, signed receipt required.

OR... just accept such losses as a cost of doing business.

it's your decision.
You need to spend the .50 to get a return receipt requested next time - then you at least have some evidence to back up your claim - now you have none. You are going to lose unless you kept the number of the gift card and can look it up to see if its been used.
You should have got the money before sending it, it sucks but it kinda is you fault
