Eviction Process: Travis Co Texas?
My ex has been staying at my house every now because I live close to his old job, and so has accumalated some things there.
During an arguement, I was very attimant about him leaving my home for good (he's lazy, not working, not helping financially, no car, etc!) and the incident escalated and the police were called.
There was no physical altercation, therefore he was able to stay because apparently since some of his belongings are in my home, that is considered his residence.
That is MY house and he doesn't pay ANY bills there- so that really sucks and I am super pissed about that!!
Anyway, the police told me to file an eviction and go through the process. Do I really have to EVICT him if that isn't HIS home?? Won't that take long-- I want him out TODAY!!

my friend got evicted for not paying her bills and it took a mater of a few weeks.
i odn't see how the police would say that to you if his name isn't on anything then it's nto his place it is yours. but i'm sure for legal reasons that would be the right process...doesn't seem right but ican see how it is.
