Upside= personal freedom
Downside= personal responsibility.
No more free lunches...you got to make your own way. I'd stay home and make them parents take care of me until I complete college :)

Can you prove you are completely independent of you parents...have enough income to survive? That will help a lot.

where would you go if you got it when youre still a minor?
