Can the landlord evict me If i choose not to buy the apartment im living in? It has been converted into a condo and i dont want to buy it. my lease expires in a few months, Will I be able to get a new lease?

Answers:
Unless you live in New York City, your landlord can refuse to renew your lease just as you can.

Yes, the landlord can evict you by not renewing the lease. A new lease is not a legal requirement.
He can choose not to renew the lease.
If your landlord wants to kick you out at the end of your lease he can. He does have to honor the existing lease until the end of its term though. At that point he will have no contractual obligation to allow you to stay.
The landlord can and most likely will opt not to renew the lease. At this point you can either move, or buy. Unfortunately in the renters market a unit is fair game when the lease is up.
