The executive team are really taking the p*ss.?

.while my boss (The Managing Director) is on holiday. I dont mind them taking the p*ss a bit but its me that has to explain why they are not back from a 3 hour lunch etc when they do eventually get in. I'm the only one allowed to take the p*ss when he's away- so how can I get them to stop without sounding bossy or like I'm going to snitch on them when he comes back?

I would maybe explain to the most sympathetic of them, that they are putting you in a really difficult position. Tell them that you don't want to be a snitch, but that their actions are effecting everyone else.

Having said that, if you then take the p**s, you won't have a leg to stand on. Either its okay for everyone or its okay for no one - yourself included.
To be honest even you saying 'I'm the only one allowed to take the p*ss' sounds bossy and annoying. and who do you have to explain their absence to if the boss is away?
You could ask them how they intend to make up the time from their lunch break. Make sure you look serious and make sure you don't say another word until they answer. Hopefully it should nip it in the bud.
Come down hard on 'em. Make 'em do exercises and sing the company song every morning like they do in Japan. They'll all be crammed in a toilet cubicle sniffing coke and then telling all the girls they've got your job, you know.
i used to be a manager of a small office. sometimes because of my age (20) and the fact that they are older than me they tried to take the p*ss. be firm that is the only way. if you are incharge or manager then you have every right to "snitch". be firm but fair. meet them half way. say that they can have a hour and half lunch break which is fair you are being nice, let them know that your *** is on the line if they start taking long breaks. like someone else said, you cant tell them to be back after an hour if your going out on 3 hour lunch breaks. make it fair. if they see you do it they will want to. like someone else said use the sympathetic ones to influence everyone else to come back! put them in your situation and ask them what they would do.
Your boss won't know unless you tell him, and if you tell him you will appear incompetent and if you cannot sort this out yourself, you are incompetent.
Esto me suena como celos y usted necesita construirse para arriba y conseguir el trabajo de sus gaffer.
