No, but I would decriminalize it. The only regulation needed is drug screening for work, if they care, and perhaps if someone is stoned and driving.

Absolutely not. If nothing else, employers need to maintain the absolute right to test employees and fire users at will. However a case can be made that tossing people in jail for mere possession is neither appropriate nor effective.

yes i believe it should be legalized unless if it's laced. you can't even die from overdose on it.
i do think that it should be because there are many things that it is good for even though it is addicting . there are many worst addictions than it, such as liquor, weed doesn't make you (or most people) an *** hole, or abuse your wife or get into accidents,or make you make a fool of yourself.weed just calms you down and helps you sleep better , maybe gain some weight, cure a head ache or hang over, make you tolerable. but if your a dealer that would be shitty...cause then you wouldnt be making any money :)
Alcohol causes too much problems already. So I say no to hash. Why to double our problems?
I have seen long time hash-users, and they seem often quite simple and dull. Altouhgt they say smoking a lot helps them think on an new lewel, the results seem quite poor in the level of oridinary life.
Long time use of marijuana rises the risk of schitzoprheria on later ages - a new scientific fining.

I'm not condoning alcohol either if I had my way, that along with cigarettes would be outlawed as well.
But so far the Government hasn't found a way to profit from the legalization of Marijuana so until then it will remain illegal.
Just because some things that are bad for us are legal doesn't mean we need to make EVERYTHING that's bad for us legal.
What we should be trying to do is make what's already legal that's bad for us illegal instead of the other way around.
And I'm not talking about food or medicine or anything like that I'm talking about Cigarettes and Alcohol.
I think it should be regulated, just as alcohol is. However what happens when a person turns 18 or 21, it is up to themselves.
However, employers should get the choice to whether or not they let their employees are druggies and smoke it.
And never in public or where a person younger, or one who does do it themselves, can get a contact high.

Not legalize, but certainly decriminalize. The number of people in the prison system has doubled since 1985 because of our never ending war on drugs. Take away the harmless hippies and the government saves billions. It's plain and simple and some small towns/cities in Maine and upper state NY have already made it a $75 fine to have less than an ounce in your possession. It was also recently voted on in MA. I've researched this topic for years and it's only a matter of time before this becomes reality. We WILL see this happen in our lifetime.
To add to this, even after countless studies have been published on marijuana not killing brain cells we still teach in our schools that it does.
Legalize it, tax it, and sell it.
It will kill the marijuana black market because companies will be able to farm marijuana for the potential buyer's market here. I realize that marijuana has adverse effects, but are they worse than alcohol? I think if you're dumb enough to smoke and drink, then you deserve to smoke and drink.
Why don't we make all drugs legal? This is the most absurd argument. Isn't alcohol bad enough? No let's add pot to the list. Why not coke? Or heroin? Or speed? Are you, not the tax payer, willing to accept the consequences for each and every accident that is the direct result of pot? Every death? Every lost dollar? So when a school bus full of children is in an accident because the driver was stoned on legal pot, all the parents of the children get to sue you instead of the county, and you get to do the jail time instead of the driver. If you're willing to accept the consequences then I'm willing to help you legalize what ever drug you want.
No, because the responsible people have to clean up the mess from pot use. We have enough problems to deal with as it is. Lancelet did a study and found a strong correlation of pot use and psychosis like schizophrenia. We don't need something that cause brain damage.
Within the last month the British Medical Association has issued papers etc proving the constant ingress of marijuana is the cause of serious medical conditions in later life inclusive of seriously diminishing ones mental ability and causing other serious impediments to mind and body. I understand many other worldwide medical institutions concur with the respective findings.
I think its fair to assume that excess consumption of alcohol, also a major factor in serious illness's, is a different issue.
