Plagiarism in the Workplace?
I am interning at a radio station and recently worked on a story having to do with the recent toy scare in China. What my responsibilities were (and still are) was that I would take the interview for the story, cut it into several soundbytes and then write up a storyboard so that the people reporting the story on the air had a basic understanding of what they were talking about.
The other day I went onto the radio station's website and saw that my story had been put up, however under "reporter," the name was the News Director's name. The story was word-for-word everything that I had written.
I have never really dealt with plagiarism before and this was a huge blow to me. I felt like a part of myself had been stolen.
I spoke with one of my college professors, who's my advisor , and he said I should approach the news director as if I were worried about HIS reputation (me being an intern, I might not have the skill level that this man has).
What should I do? Is this legal?

good advice on the profs part. good dig. no its not legal but
wiegh out the consequence of what a lawsuit can be like especially if they decide against you. the law doesnt always decide in favor of the good guy. you think that was a blow. its a tough decision you need to make on what to do.
Sue that bastard !
Simple ask him why he chose to do that. Legality I don't know. Morally it is wrong and reflects detrimentally on him.
