I have a question about my ex, we have this loan together, I have been paying it since we had broken up, its?
mostly my bills togeather but some where his, I have my car on there too, well I have been late on the payments because I am a single dad with limited income and have done every thing to pay these payments, I even got money from my sister and grandma to help with it. I asked him to pay one payment and he goes says no, he said if I am late on one more payment he will pull the loan and have the repo man come and get the car, the loan is through a bank. I am trying to be on time with the payments but with rent and other bills, it dont leave me much, I cant go bankrupt because when I got devorced, my exwife had us ordered to do so and that was 5 years ago, my question is can I serender the car back to the bank, and if so what will happen, the car is not worth that much and its not worth all the stess and unhappyness. leagly what can my ex do? sorry for the misspelled, I havent slept in a while I live in wisconsin, any lawyers can offer advice?

Try just calling the bank the loans through and talking to them and tell them what's going on... When this happened to me the bank understood. If you've owned it long enough you should be able to get a differed (sp) payment for a few months to help you get caught back up on your other bills and then start paying that again!
If you "give up the car" it will go on your credit and possibly hers to depending on how the loan was done. I know it seems "good" to have it on hers too but think about your own credit, especially with having children...
