Do you have to have a written safety policy or program to be compliant with Osha?
Answers:
Unless the specific OSHA program requires it (LOTO,HAZCOM for example), you don't. You can show compliance through training materials, interviews with employees, and records. However, having that plan makes it much easier to convince OSHA you have a program. In the long run, once you get the first version done, the written material makes things easier.
