If someone volunteers for drug court and wants out can they drop out?

They went into drug court because of DCFS taking custody of children when mother came up dirty with meth at birth. Been going on for a year and losing rights of the children can he drop out. There was no charges against him when he went in but has failed on some test through the year. He understands that he will lose his kids but feels it might be best for them. The failed tests he served time on so would he have to do any more or maybe what I am asking can they charge you with internal possession after the fact if you drop out.

Answers:
The individual should consult with their attorney. What their options are will depend both on the law in their state and the posture of the case.
