What happens if I'm banned for going to shops eg. debenhams because I stole something from them before?

I'm 14 years old and I'm from England.I got a friend called Lewis and he's 14 years old too and he shoplifted in two shops i will call it shop A and shop B. He stole a white long sleeves in shop A but he didn't get caught but in shop B he got caught because he stole a sunglasses. Shop B called the police and brought him in police station. Is lewis will get arrested and what happens if he went to those two shops again but he's not going to steal or shoplifting this time. When he shoplifted his dad is with him but he's dad didn't shoplifted and he's dad had been banned also but they didn't take a photo of his dad.Can his dad go again to those shops?is he going to be arrested because of trespassing or burglary? If you can tell me a website for this crime please tell me.I hope many will give me an answer thank you...

I think you need to try to get some new friends, i think your saying that his dad was thieving aswell. Do you really want to hang round with these people? Even if you don`t do it, some people will think you are like them. What would your family think if you got into trouble, even if it wasn`t your fault. Try to get your friend to behave, stealing is not the answer, he could get sent to a kids prison. There arn`t any web sites for this anyway, just the police databases.

All but your friend can enter the shop. The shop has the right to refuse him entry if he has committed an offence in the shop and got caught.

So you are fine to go in there.
If they are banned then they cannot return. If for some reason someone recognizes them, they can be thrown into jail for violating a restraining order.
he would stay away from the shops he got barred from and STOP being a silly boy with this shoplifting crap. i wouldn't go shopping with him if i were you as even if he says he wont do it, there's a good chance he will. i don't beleive his dad will be arrested, just asked to leave the store. sorry but i don't know any websites. given a couple of years they might be able to enter the store again, i got falsly accused in somerfield once and i've never shoplifted, i didn't go into that shop for a couple of years and when i did it was fine, the security guard who took a dislike to me had moved on.
Yeah, I dont think his dad will get arrested if he didnt do anything..Did his dad know what was happening, cos i wouldnt have dared shoplift in the company of one of my parents!! (i wouldnt do it full stop though)

Your friend will, if its his first offence, probably just get a caution, but honey, dont even get involved in this sort of thing, even if it does seem fun you're so young, life is long.. too long to be classed as a criminal. You'll have a label for the rest of your life..

I dont really understand what your issue is... His dad cant get arrested unless he's done something.. I know its scary when the police get involved in things, but just look after yourself.. Make good decisions!!

xx
Get some new "honest" friends but check on their dad's crime sheet first.
If he enters stores against ban then yes he can be arrested for trespassing. Now if he is arrested for trespassing this "could" violate his probation terms on shoplifting sentence (if already sentenced and convicted) A violation of probation can result in stiffer fines, jail time and continued probation. for info on shoplifting and its consequences see website below
if he gets caught shoplifting in those shops they will have banned him from all nationwide branches of that store automatically and even if he doesnt want to shoplift he cant go in, if his dad was arrested with him (which would happen on suspicion of being an accomplice) then his dad will also have been banned and he cant go in either
It sounds as if your mates dad , was asked to leave the shop because he was with your mate

Your mates dad will be allowed to shop in the same shop as long as your mate is not with him
Debenhams has the highest interest rate on their credit cards
dont shop there but if lewis nicks stuff instead of buying he wont know what the prices are
