Losing job!?

HI all,
I recently lost my job as a city busdriver, due to an accident I was in.I was still on probation at the time.I guess I did quite a bit of damage to the bus as I ran over a colvert, which I didn`t know I did.Anyways I was fired that next day,yet my insurance is paying for the damages, and I also have to pay $400.00 to renew my license.
Does this sound fair,or are my instincts right when I believe my supervisor( a woman) just didn`t like me and wanted to get rid of me anyways.
I am taking this very personal and hard to accept.I don`t understand why my insurance pays, and I pay,yet I still lost my job?
Any advice?
thankyou
Sunflower

Look in the yellow pages of your phone book and call one of those lawyers that specializes in wrongful discharge from jobs. Most of them are no recovery, no fee lawyers and will most likely get you a nice settlement if you are in the right.

You lost you're job because they didn't like u. They just needed something to fire you. It's normal that you pay for you're license again u had an accident they want pay like that. Advice is to take curs of how to find a job and do something at the computer screen, not on the road. Any way I am filling sorry for u, so if u want any other advice mail me.
