I keep hearing about impeachment. What would the charges be?

Answer:
Excellent point! I don't think they have a case. I guess they're just wishful thinking.

i don't know where your sources are, but most other sources don't mention anything about impeachment...i think the word you're looking for is incompetence (i assume were talking about bush)
High crimes and misdemeanors.

Read this article.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/movement_to...
The charges would be "Bush lied and people died" then the case would be dropped immediately because the court would realize how incredibly dumb that sounds.
involvement in the firings of the judges...or claiming that they have "executive power" to keep two witnesses from testifying in court on the firings, telling them to ignore the subpoena.

not to mention that he is a complete idiot...however the question is...who would take his place? Cheney? now that is scary.
Obstruction of Justice, (Libby)
Criminal negligence, (Hurricane Katrina)
Abuse of Power, (War in Iraq)
Election fraud, (Florida 2004, I don't care what everybody says, that was fraud)
Illegal wiretapping, (obvious)
You want more reasons?
High crimes and misdeameanors. Lying to Congress (a felony) several Constitutional violations, i.e warrantless wiretaps, abuse of power, releasing classified information on a government offical during a time of war (Treason) shall I continue?
Illegal Wiretapping:
George W. Bush has admitted to ordering the National Security Agency to conduct electronic surveillance of American civilians without seeking warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review, duly constituted by Congress in 1978, in violation of Title 50 United States Code, Section 1805

Eliminating Due Process of Prisoners:
George W. Bush has conspired to commit the torture of prisoners in violation of the "Federal Torture Act" Title 18 United States Code, Section 113C, the UN Torture convention and the Geneva Convention, which under Article VI of the Constitution are part of the "supreme Law of the Land;"

George W. Bush has conspired to deny due process to prisoners of war, indiscriminantly bomb cities, transfer prisoners of war from an occupied territory, and planned, prepared, initiated and waged of a war of aggression in violation of U.S. Military Code section 2441, Geneva convention (I Art 3, II Art 18, Art 19, III Art 13, Art 17, Art 33, Art 34, Art 49, IV Art 3), and the 1945 Nuremberg Principles articles 6(a) and (b)

Illegal Use of Signing Statements:
George Walker Bush has attached signing statements to more than one hundred bills before signing them, within which he has made over eleven hundred challenges to provisions of laws passed by Congress, a figure that exceeds the total number of such challenges by all previous presidents combined, and has used this practice to exempt himself, as President of the United States, from enforcing or from being held accountable to provisions of the said laws. By declining to veto even bills, and instead attaching signing statements challenging hundreds of laws passed by Congress, he has sought to exempt the executive branch from accountability to said laws, thereby violating Article 1, Section 7 and Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution. These articles of the Constitution dictate that the president has the option of signing or vetoing a bill, and upon signing the bill to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed."

Just to name a few
Not agreeing with someone's politics isn't an impeachable offense. Some think that it is.
It never ceases to amaze me at now naïve people are. I’m not even going to get into Bush did this or he’s that because I don’t care. There’s very little merit behind the entire Republican Vs. Democrat argument. Most of the people engaging in this seem diluted, naïve, or brainwashed by the system.

Bush wasn’t the first to lie, Clinton did it before him, and I’m quite sure Bush and Clinton weren’t the only ones.

Ask yourself this, why would somebody that’s rich and powerful care about you? What do you have to offer them? You’re but on serf in a kingdom of pawns. If you’re net wealth isn’t measured in hundreds of millions, nobody in Washington Democrat or Republican gives a rat’s **** about you! Wake up America!
