What can I do LA Fitness overcharged me but they do not want to give me refund?

Make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They will send them a letter telling them that a complaint has been filed and that some kind of resolution needs to happen or it can go against their score with them. I have done it before and my problem with the company was settled.

They do that to people all the time. Most people don't fight it, so apparently, it allows them to profit.
Do they admit they overcharged you? If so, ask them if you can have extra months on your membership. If they continue to refuse to help you, pack up and go elsewhere. There are many local gyms that are just as good for most people as the big-name ones, without the high prices.
