Can u help me with sum property laws?

i have this bridge that goes across a creek that has a property line through it and 1 half is mine and the other is ma neighbors

2day i put a sign on the bridge that said "private property no trespassing" on ma side of the bridge and 2nite the neighbor came and took it down

Aint there a law that says i can do watever i want with ma part of the bridge even if ma neighbor built it?

Let me save you an attorney's $250/hour. Why don't you just talk to your neighbor? You both own the bridge. Obviously, you can't prevent him from using it. It was probably wrong for him to come onto your property to remove the sign, but you were also restricting access to HIS property, with which he can do what he pleases.

And if that answer doesn't satisfy you, go down to the Land Records office in your county and research both of your deeds going back to the founding of your state, or at least to when the bridge was built. This will likely take you a full day. Then play lawyer and attempt to interpret the deeds and covenants. Then figure out who owns what precisely. Then bank your own cash on your interpretation being correct.

Or you could talk to your neighbor, and not risk being sued and not spend $2000.
