Help! Crazy lawn man.. Harrassing, what do I do??
My husband left for Iraq (he's military) back about 9 months ago. We had to make a move w/o him into a new duplex, at which the landlord unlike our previous one, does not take care of the lawn. In fact, we don't even own a lawnmower because we never had to before.. Anyway, luckily (or so I thought) a guy showed up at the door a few days after the move-in and asked me if I needed it mowed. I quickly told him yes we definately did. He did an awesome job that first time, although he seemed a little weird. I let it go.. After that one time the rest of the times he's come have sucked so bad. And on top of it, he's constantly talking about Iraq and asking me things, bumming my smokes, what have you. So my father (who lives nowhere near me) finally ended up hunting down a decent lawn guy who charged less too and so I told my reg guy he wouldnt need to come around again (very politely of course). The guy BLEW UP! Cussed me out, calls my cell at 6:30am... WTF he's scaring me. My neighors too..

get the police involved, if youve asked him to stop and he hasnt thats harrasment and if you and your neighbors are gettin scared or worked up what have you they will either give him a restraing order etc
Fire him? Call the police? This seems like an easy problem to solve.
Uh...he's stalking/harassing you. You need to contact the police and file a report. Make sure you write down the dates and times of the unwanted contact with the guy. After that, you can go to your local courthouse and get a Restraining or Anti-Harassment order. But you can't do it until you have the police report on file.
Call the police. PERIOD. This guy is whacked and you can bet he is already on file with the local police. He already knows that you live alone and that your husband is overseas and he has made you out for a "target". Do NOT mess around. Take this serious...because it IS!!
What an awful thing to have to face without your husband. my prayers are with him. My nephew just got back a few months ago. I would call the police and file a complaint against him. if they need prof or if he tries to lie about it , you can go to your cell phone company and they can trace the calls, and even print a copy for you to take to the police station. and if he calls again after you file a complaint , then file for a restraining order. that means he will not be about to call you or come any where near you or your house. Be careful. it sounds like he has a screw lose some where
