Anyone know how I can report a scam? I hired a mechanic from craigslist to fix my car and he took the money?
and for the last 4 days has not returned any of my calls or messages. Any ideas anyone?

lesson to all: never hire anyone off craigslist.org, unless its a legit business!
if its over $100 sue the &^%$ in small claims, though it must be in the county he lives in
if its petty change just move on!

NEVER pay a mechanic until after your car is fixed. Sorry, but it may be too late. If you want to file a complaint against him, I'd start with the non-emergency number of your local police department. A 411 operator can transfer you there.
call the police.that is what you get for using craigslist and not thoroughly checking
why would you give him the money before he fixed ur car? that makes no sense.
