How long does the process take to get a DUI expunged from my record.?
The state dropped my charges and I won the case. It is on my record now for future jobs ...correct??. I will be interviewing for new jobs very soon, and am concerned that it may still effect my status for employment. Please help. Thank you for your help in advance!

It depends. I was awarded a Petition of Non-Disclosure in the state of Texas last month. This means that my record is sealed.
If what you say is true and you were not on probation or plead no-contest, you probably qualify. The good news is there is no time requirements to have your record expunge. You can have it done right away!
Having it sealed is a different story. In Texas, it is five years for felonies and 2 years for mideameanors.
If charges are dropped and there is no conviction, I am 100% sure you qualify to have it expunge. Find the cheapest lawyer in your area. Once he takes it to court, the judge will sign it within a month after receiving it. The DA cannot refute it because you have already won your case.
Read www.Texasfreshstart.com to get an understanding of how it works. Most states are basically the same.
untill you get a second one
3 years in ohio
if your not guilty you don't have a "record"
remember its never really expunged. your future employer will not see it but its still there
in arkansas its three years for tickets and i think its five for dui
It should not be on your record at all. If you won the case.
It should have justification on your record. That means it will not show up on your record.
It is tough, if not impossible to ever get it off your record, depending on where you're from.
You can't expunge it if: your offense is related to vehicular manslaughter.
If your DUI offense is complicated with felony drug charges.
If your DUI offense involves extensive property damage and/or severe accident or injury.
Not in one of these scenarios? Then I suggest you get a copy of a "DUI Process Manual," because everyone's situation is a little different. This manual has a full explanation of DUI law and DUI record clearing. It also explains exactly how to clear or significantly minimize your DUI record no matter what state you're located in.
Also, it has info on getting your drivers license back, saving money before and after a conviction, auto insurance, and basically any other concerns that you might have about DUI offenses in general.
Other than that, I'd suggest you talk to an attorney and see if there is any way you can try for an appeal(if recent).
