Can you get a restraining order for someone calling you fat, a loser, and never going to amount to anything?

It's just a person I know on the Internet and I've never met them in person before.

Answers:
No, sorry.

A restraining order would keep you from physical harm and would be issued by a judge who is convinced that you are in harms way.

So no. But you can get a lawyer for harassment and take THAT to the legal and logical conclusion.
Absolutely not. Sorry.
No. YOu are in to different jurisdictions. Also, if they are on the internet, just ignore they dumb ***.
Just say it back to them. They ain't real anyway, they are just letters on a screen them people ain't real.
I think they might laugh you out of court if you go for a restraining order against someone you have never met, only through the Internet. Huh, how about you just delete them, why are you having correspondence with them?
No. I suggest you 'block' that sender and don't waste your time with a 'flaming war'.
