Is it Legal to have a relationship with a 16 year old when I'm 25 ?

I just fount a Question on the German Yahoo .
He 25 she 16 and he wants to marriage her .
and now i just wonder if that is legal what there are doing .
Even when she lives in Germany the American Laws are still matters .

If they marry with her parents' consent, she will be emancipated and an adult under the law so that he can't be charged with statutory rape but boy I would be careful about that one.
In the US it is illegal for a 25 yr old to engage in sexual relations with a minor under 18, consensual or not. However, if they have written consent from the parents, then they can marry & have sex legally.

if its an American marriage the permission of the girl's parents is probably needed for marriage. (btw, sex with someone under 18 if you are over 18 is a crime in the US)

German laws apply if she marries in Germany, but I suspect that Germany will have the same reservations as we do! Children don't marry adults!
In Germany anyone under 18 requires bothe parents consent. They can be as young as 14! Wow, that is too young to be getting married!

not only do the parents sign a waiver to have them get married but the 16Y.O. can also get emancipated (divorced from the parents)

they cant unless there parents say it is ok and then they have to have it written on legal documents it hapened to me and my now ex b/f we bailed on the wedding and the relationship like 2 months be4

in the US it is 18 but some states allow earlier with permission I don't know about Germany been year since i was there and wasn't trying to get married when i was there was trying to forget marrage
I think because she is an american citizen on american soil (military bases are considered american soil) than hell yes he can get in trouble ... I think it may even be illegal in Germany too ...
