Religious people who believe that end is near, wouldn't they try to help that to become true?
people want to prove that they are right and some people believe that their religion is the best and the one and only truth and since they are so dogmatic, wouldn't they support and help anything that would bring about a ie; nuclear war? why should anyone even want to be on their side on any issue? why are against abortion, would they prefer children burn by a nuclear bomb or however it is going to burn. would they be a peace advocate or a war advocate. do they have a will? that would be stupid! most likely they are republicans since that will make sure of wars and/or global warming! right?

Why are you so down on religious people? I am a Christian and yes I believe that Jesus is coming real soon, but I would never do anything like what you say. That would be stupid alright. Listen Jesus is coming when God the Father tells him to come get His children. We might have a 1000 years to go before that happens or it could be tomorrow. But yes, I am a Christian and I am proud of it!
You have many questions here. You are first assuming ALL religious people are the same, we are not. Some may well be dogmatic, many are not. Again you "assume" we all would support a nuclear war, I don't. The end IS near, but the end has already been decided, (it is written) we just don't know when and it certainly is Not our choice as to how, that IS God's plan. By the way I'm "not" a Republican. And "We" the people are the creators of global warming and wars. We all have free will, I have made my choice, how about you?

Everyone, especially christians, believe that the return of Jesus is a mystery, that the end-time could come at any moment. But let's look at what Jesus said to his disciples when they questioned Him about this, for once. Everyone, including the Church, is trying to decipher the Book Of Revelations, trying to figure out when Jesus is coming back, when all they have to do is listen to what Jesus said about it. He states in Matthew 24:14 after describing the time of sorrow: ..."And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."...Now ponder that for a moment. Think about what has been preached to us for the past 2000 years. We have been preaching the "Gospel of Jesus", but not the gospel that Jesus preached! Jesus' entire ministry began, fully encompassed, and ended with "The Kingdom". You can go back to your bibles and verify this for yourselves. He begins His ministry with "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!" And his parables almost always include "The Kingdom of Heaven is like..." What this tells me is that we need to shift our focus off of what Jesus "did", and start looking at what He "said"! He came here with a message, but few have understood it! That message was "The Kingdom". And until all the nations hear and understand what this message means for us, the end will not come. You may think that christianity has spread across the entire globe by now, and you would be right. But the message about the Kingdom has barely been focused on until recently. The sooner you & I discover what this message means the sooner He will return! I hope that by posting this message I have done something to hasten His second coming... I consider myself to be no expert on this matter, and I'm rather uneducated compared to most, but it's not the amount of knowledge that is more important here, it's having the wisdom to use the little knowledge you have.
