Does the court have any jurisdiction ?

my brother was suspended from school last year, they said they didnt want him to come back. he recently had a few psychiatric evulations done on him,. he has been diagnosed with a serious mental behavioral problem. he needs to be at a residential school where he can get help, but only his school can make the decision to allow that. now his school wants him to come back despite what his teachers and psychologists have said. my brother is going to court soon to decide what will happen to him. HOW MUCH JURISDICTION DOES THE COURT HAVE WHEN IT COMES TO DECIDING WHAT SCHOOL HE SHOULD GO TO?? because I heard that the court only has the power to make him a ward of the state.

Answers:
No the court in most states has the power to determine legal (but not medical) competency and will probably order another battery of tests. If your brother is deemed to be a danger to himself or others and is underage and your parents are for some reason out of the picture the courts MAY decide to have him taken out of society, perhaps to a school or other facility run by the state. This is for his own well being and that of the community.

undefined answer because the courts themselves have different jurisdiciton notices for different cases all over the country. I mean its the law and not every law is the same either.

teachers they are just people work at the school they arent fully government and psychologists have a way to embarrass people and treating them like **** like Dr *** on TV where he is so prejudice and unfair that he always mancamps men every single episode. the courts themselves could overrule and override them both, they have their way of doing stuff. i never been to court other then being a witness of fight a Walmart but i have plenty friends thats been there.

but the courts have full jurisdiction where to sentence him, it could be within the area it could be 2-3 hour drive just gotta know how severe your talking. But i dont think the courts can sentence people out of state due to rules and regulations thats alot of paperwork actually to even attempt that.
