How do I copyright photos before putting them on my website I am building?

Answers:
If they are your own original work, then you already own the copyright. You can put a notice on your webpage announcing that the photos are copyright, or even on the photos themselves in a corner somewhere. But even if you don't put such a notice, they're still copyrighted.
You should think about putting in protection on your website against hotlinkiing and scraping.

Put a Watermark and also visible copyright notice on the photo.
Like copyright laws ever stopped anyone on the internet from making a copy, what planet did you say you were from again?
go to the US patent and trade office web site and got o copy rights and you can down load it and the information of how to do it. I would be sure to do this so no one can legally use them. It is easy and not very much to do.
Works are copyrighted as soon as they are made, but in order to fully protect your work and ensure getting the most in any infringement suit, you must register your works with the copyright office. See the site below for the process.
