Can anybody tell me why a black person would be a Christian?

When a slaveowner strikes a male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies immediately, the owner shall be punished. But if the slave survives a day or two, there is no punishment; for the slave is the owner's property.

Religions change. There are many outdated practices in the Old Testament that neither Christians nor modern Jews follow. Otherwise, they'd still be sacrificing animals on top of a stone altar to atone for their sins, and executing children who hit their parents.
why do all Jews have a huge nose and why would they sell their soul and culture for money? I don't know? like my question, yours doesn't have a clear cut answer!

See, I read your question and the slave part in the Bible is not even why I question why black people, or Asian people, or even white people, actually, would be Christians. If Jesus was God, why would anyone who isn't Semitic, worship a Semitic God? (Jesus was a Jew from Israel, so he was a Semite.) Why would God incarnate, because by incarnating he has to pick a race and a gender, etc, and alienate all the others? If I'm black why would I worship a God who didn't think it was worth incarnating as a black man? Same for Asians, etc.

Black people aren't the only people who have been slaves, so using this argument, lots of people wouldn't want to be Christian.
RACIST! Jesus changed those rules in the NT, when he told his disciples to preach to the Gentiles. and, even if they are slave, why does that prevent them from being a christian?
