Is Bob Allen's, (R) Florida, explaination an acceptable explaination for his actions?
Yesterday Florida state representative was arrested for soliciting sex with an undercover officer. He offer to perform oral sex on a male undercover officer. After his arrest he stated that the male officer was a "pretty stocky black guy." and that there was "nothing but other black guys around the park." He brought it all together by saying he was "afraid he would become a statistic."

As a black man it is very disheartening to know that there are people out there who actually think that this is an acceptable response.
Do I believe he was in fear for his life? No.
Do I believe that he is afraid of black men? No.
Does he have a fetish for black men? Possibly.
I am in no way condemning this man for his sexual desires. I do condemn him for believing that he could blame his actions on fear of black men. This has me so frustrated I don’t want to type anymore.
He already is a statistic. Open mouth insert __________ you fill in the blanks. His explanation is psycho babble from sheer realization of the situation he is now in. RESIGN NOW!
No. He is the one who put himself in the park and now he is saying he was afraid? He better start thinking of a better explanation if he wants anyone to believe him.
