Does anyone know what the time limit is to have a subpeona served on a person before a trial??

Answers:
I am not up with the different kids of sobpoenas but there is this example online where under section 100 of the Justice Act 1902 a subpoena could not be served less than five days before a court appearance was scheduled. Hopefully this has helped.

The verdict seems to be the end of the subpoena don't you think? If the trial's over the subpoena is moot.

Otherwise, there's no limit provided the trial is moving forward.
There is generally no such limit. A subpoena can be served ten minutes before trial, or ten months and both are enforcable.
No time limit at all!
