Do we spoil credit debtors in usa?
do we coddle our credit card debtors in this country? should there be some criminal punishment?

We have bankrupcy laws. Just use them. I don't feel sorry for people that spend what they don't have, and I don't feel sorry for the CC companies that make bad loans.
Most people don't realize that the CC company makes 2.5-4% from the seller (Store) for every charge you make anyway. Then they make interest on your money.
good question...but what about the ruthless lenders who want everyone indebted to them?they should be punished too especially those who wish to exploit students. an economy based on credit is bad. But if people are dumb enough to believe in free money maybe they deserve it.
No. Why should we? Businesses actually get tax breaks when they write off debts. So in reality they don't really lose any money. I tell you what, you get sick or disabled, or have a child that gets sick or disabled then try to return the car that you bought when you were able to afford it and get left with a huge chunk left to pay. Then get laid off from your job because an illegal will take way less than you to do the same job. Then lose your place to live either because you can't afford the mortgage anymore, or you got thrown out of your apartment because the illegals had 20 people to move in all working and could pay more rent than you. Then ask this question.
