In the news, a child being charged as an adult, yet they don't show the picture?
Occasionally you hear that an child is being charged for homicide, arson etc.. yet the news won't show the photo of that child, because they are under age. Uh, isn't the child being charged as an adult, thus "adult rules" would apply?
Answers:
When a juvenile is waived to adult court, the public is allowed to now who the accused is. The decision on whether or not to show the pictures and give identifying information is entirely up to the news source. They aren't required to give the information. They simply have the ability to do so if they want to give the information.
uh who cares will seeing the picture make any difference what so ever? no.
being tried as a adult does not necessarily make you a adult.
Your question does'nt say the child is being charged as an adult. The law prohibits a child's name or any indentification being shown to the public.
my mom learned braille, dose that help?
Uh, no, they can't because, uh, the child is a minor.
