What do you think about 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee' and long term justice?

I did not have a chance to see the made for television movie a few week ago, but I did read the book. It is appropriately titled. It cuts the heart out. Chapter by chapter, more tribes are systematically slaughtered and displaced, after having been subjected to a series of lies, broken promises and invalid treaties. Black Elk's words of despair and hopelessness are particularly impactful at the end, where he tells of a people's dream having died with the final battle.

In Canada the aboriginal population is showing a very high growth rate, while the birth rates of other populations, including the ones previously responsible for the massacres, are on a significant decline. Do you think that justice might be finally catching up with everyone?
