Class action?

A friend and I have hired a lawyer to repersent us in a lawsuit. We have hired him on a contingency basis. Can he aquire more clients to repersent who have the same problem with the same company to form a bigger class action suit without our permisson?

Answers:
He can acquire more clients, particularly if the lawsuit is designated as a class action. A class action has to provide representation to all similarly situated plaintiffs.
