If i returned speakers at walmart for a friend that i didnt know where stolen...?
i live in IL and a friend called me and asked me if i had an ID to return some speakers for her. She said she lost the receipt and was asking if i would return them for store credit. I returned them and afterwards she said something that led me to believe that the speakers where stolen. Am i going to get into trouble? If so what kind of trouble am i looking at?

Well, there should have been an alarm bell going off in your head when she wanted someone other than herself to return the speakers. My advice is to not do something like that again. From what you're saying, it doesn't sound as though you've been pegged as an accessory. Hopefully you're wrong in assuming she stole them.
You probably wont get in trouble this time...just don't ever do it again!
No you won't get in trouble
choose better friends
what a friend!! anyway they should of already arrest you if they needed you to!
Walmart uses ID's to keep track of returns. Too many,.. without receipts,.. and you are "cut off". This record is in "all" WalMart computers! Your friend probably reached her limit. I wouldn't do it again,.. as of now,.. you only used "one" of your chances for return without a receipt.. No real harm done on your part.
If nothing happened while you were at Wal-Mart then you got off just fine but You should have confronted your friend about this. Dont ever this kind off stuff for friends and tell her that wasnt cool thing to do to you, you were being a good bud and she totally stiffs you whats that.
