Why do alot of Americans still feel a duty to defend our barbaric administration?No matter what they are told they just follow rank,and file.Can we say that our freedom has been compromised for the sake of security.Society is built on the tactic of fear.Have some people not been shaking in their boots since 911.I have heard about the no attacks on American soil cope out.If terrorists wanted to do something they would have by now.Do we honestly think that our security has been stepped up that much since 911,that no such attack could happen?

I don't see why you can't just let these people have their own opinions, as you have yours. That is what a free society is based on, I am not American, but Bush won the election twice (barely), so if people have such a problem, they should try voting, everyone likes to complain and then do nothing about it, whether they are for or against, but for some reason, the people that are for Bush are more vocal.
Another alternative could be to move to Canada :)
Many attempts have been thwarted on the local, state and federal level. Many organizations and individuals have been and are still being put under surveillance for our security. This administration has made some grievous errors, but so has congress and the senate. I live in Chicago and yes I feel quite secure, more patrols downtown both on foot and in cars and especially during large events. We should feel fortunate no attacks have happened on our soil since 9/11, but unfortunately it is just a matter of time.
