What are some codes for honorable living?

Answers:
I am a member of the US Army. The Army has what they call the 7 Army Values.

Loyalty
Bear true faith and allegiance to the those close to you.

Duty
Fulfill your obligations.
Accept responsibility for your own actions and those entrusted to your care.

Respect
Rely upon the golden rule. Treat others as you'd like to be treated.
How we consider others reflects upon each of us personally.

Selfless Service
Put the welfare of the others before your own.
Selfless service leads to discipline and self-control.

Honor
Live up to all of your values

Integrity
Do what is right, legally and morally.
Be willing to do what is right even when no one is looking.
It is our "moral compass" an inner voice.

Personal Courage
Our ability to face fear, danger, or adversity, both physical and moral courage.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Harbor no anger.

Choose your friends wisely because you are judged by the company you keep.

Find your niche in life.

Don't compromise your integrity.
Don't know about any certain "codes", but i would say truthfulness, treating everyone equally, and integrity will go a long way in this life...
