Will legal bribery ever end in Washington?

Private campaign finance, quid pro quo, is ruining our political system. Our politicians are bought and paid for. Its why they don't care about polls, we have for-profit health care, a military industrial complex, environmental problems, and the list is endless. They are answering to the biggest moneyed corporations and industries rather than the voters.

Do you trust politicians who advocate full public campaign financing to end the legal bribe system when they are taking money from these lobbyists in order to get elected?

Answers:
That is an very good question. Why the hell do we need lobbyists? That seems to go against every idea the founding fathers had when our government was set up.
A representative from my area (Billy Tauzin) was chairman of the powerful committee that oversees the health care industry. He abruptly decided to retire and took a 2 million dollar a year job as a hobbyist for the drug companies. Why can this be allowed? I don't know what part of the government is worse the lobbyists or the electoral college.

Since we cannot control illegal bribery to any degree- NO.

For every bright-eyed honest person who works hard for the common good, there are dozens who are there just to fill their pockets.
Only if, we the people, take charge of the situation the way we did with the immigration bill. That job is still unfinished as well, they are still trying to slip it through the back door. We must be vocal and ever vigilant.
