Should lawyers suffer the same consequences as their clients ?

what? u are comparing criminal to civil cases i think. that is not right. plus if they could not take part of the money from a case people would not have lawyers for person injury cases. this would especially hurt the poor.
I agree with a good portion of what blktan23 said, However it will not only affect the poor, it will affect anybody who can't afford to pay lawyer fees. Civil/Criminal two different animals. That like if I was standing next to you when you found out you just won the lotto shouldn't I be entitled to some of your winnings NO. It would be nice though lol
