How the news about series of deaths involving Buses has touched us? What should be done to improve traffic?

How law and order can prevail on the roads? How to control accidents? How to enforce traffic rules? What about casual approach of traffic police and Central and State Governments?

Would deployment of cameras and supporting equipment for video surveillance help? How the factors contributing to appalling statistics of death due to road accidents can be identified? How significant is the influence of factors like the design of vehicles, roads, Rash and Negligent driving, disregard to traffic rules, abuse of roads poor traffic management and law enforcement?

Most of us have become immune to such news and it touch us until we ourselves are sufferers. The traffic police statistics about the road accidents and accidents are increasing each year. Many minor and major accidents go unreported. How can police identify traffic offenders like moving encroachers, permanent encroachers, improper parking, mid road stopping by vehicles to pick/ drop passengers? Any Solutions for traffic jams?

go get some sleep. you must have been really tired to spin that yarn....

the main reason for such accidents is ill trained drivers. it is very easy in our country to get a driving license, thanks to the greed of inspectors who test a person and grant him/her permission to drive.Unless we have good training schools for commercial and personal drivers and strict checks/driving tests, the situation CANNOT improve
How about infusing a sense of respect for life in our culture and religion. How about that? How about population control..Every choora chamaar wants to come to the Delhi to live here and not pay any taxes. How about controlling this phenomenon, first. ?
You have asked so many questions!! For what happens in a locality, you cannot blame any single person or institution. The whole population of the locality contribute in some way or other to the problems. Every city should have some Presiding Deity, and a good chunk of the population should respect the Presiding Deity.

For example, Lord Siddhi-Vinayak is the Presiding Deity of Mumbai. He protects Mumbai from many disasters and keeps its people more or less on the right path while giving enough freedom to enjoy life.

Who is the Presiding Deity of Delhi? How many people in Delhi respect Him?
