The number and kind of diagnostic tests allowed for a condition is determined by...?

doctors only
government regulations only
insurance companies only
doctors, insurers, manged care organizations and government regulations.

Thanks! : )

Answers:
your doctor would be the one to determine if the testing is needed... IF it's medical necessary and you go in network with your insurance then they have to pay it or the doctor has to write off the charges if it's not paid... you can have your doctor do a predetermination to see if a procedure is covered under insurance before it's preformed..
