Is it legal in the uk for me to raffle my house ?

Answer:
If you are the sole owner of the property and land, then you need to contact a solicitor with regard to laws that may apply in your area.
You may also have to check with the land registry to ensure there are no by-laws with regard to adjoining property.

If it's yours, you can do with it as you please, but please check and double check as above before going ahead.

May I wish you good luck, and hope things work out OK for you.

There was a guy that did this already, it made the news a couple of years ago. He sold as many £1 tickets as he thought his flat was worth, then pulled out a ticket and gave the flat to the winner. He had his solicitor involved in the whole process though.

Enfuriatingly I can't find it on the web. I think the flat was in Nottingham.
