I filed a restraining order against my ex-gf...?
I filed a restraining order against my ex-gf. If the judge didn't grant the order, what should I do then?
Answers:
If you feel your reason for one is legally justified, then contact a lawyer. If she is just a nusiance, then you cannot get one for that. However, document everything she does, every time she does it, that you feel are reasons that warrent a restraining order. Document places, times, what she does, threats she makes, calls she makes, stalking, save voice mail messages, etc. Anything that you feel justifies one, document it. Use pictures and tapes too for back up proof of your claims. Then resubmit another one for the judge's reconsideration.
sounds like your back to square one
File another one, but this time lie.
Liars are the only ones who come ahead in our court systems.
i would have to know why the judge declined to give the RO and what you were filing the RO for.
He probably didnt have enough evidence to issue the order. If that is the case then you need to collect more evidence (witnesses) to justify the RO then refile
Let your ex be your ex. Do not call her, go see her, or have anything to do with her.
Why did you file a restraining order? Did you not have enough evidence for the judge?
If she is a crazy stalker, then get more evidence. Call the cops every time she does something wrong. But, if you are just angry, and are trying to punish her, just let it go.
