Was This Illegal, Am I In Trouble?

I was on a different Y!A account earlier. I only got it because for some reason I couldn't get on this one and i was bored...felt like asking questions.

ANYWAYS, I asked about five different questions in the pregnancy section stating that I have had 16 abortions. Though twisted, it is not true. I also told some ladies that they were going to have a miscarriage..ect. I know, Im horrible. Whatever.

ANYWAYS, some lady told me that she is tracing my messages and is going to have the fbi or federal bearue..something like that...arrest me and take me to jail.

Was what i said illegal?

Answers:
no... it's because u're making them feel paranoid and worried, she is only threatning with thing she can't actually do, so ur safe. don't worry.

While you said some pretty nasty things, you can't be legally punished for your words.
not Illegal but Hacking is.
yes, absolutely, you'd better mend your ways quick!!
Free speech, not illegal.
Harassment, illegal. I'd appoligize.
Doubt she can trace you, though...
Wow. I don't think I can put into words how awful you are, to have mocked these people for your own entertainment. Do you realize how many women nowadays miscarry (it's because we can detect pregnancy so early, those that would once have been undetected are detected and therefore mourned). Do you realize how soul-deep those wounds go, and how terrified they are to miscarry again?

I don't think what you said was illegal, but I honestly hope the way you said it (if you put it as a threat) was, because--wow. Here's hoping karma is alive and well.
No it is not illegal just in really bad taste. The person who said that they were "tracing" your messages is full of it.
At worse, Yahoo will zap the account, and you'd have to create a new one.
What would the charge be?
In that (so and so) on or about (such and such date) did, willingly and knowlingly be an twerpt to the said Ms. (so and so) there by causing a defensive out burst to the accused.

What you did was morally, socially, and ethically really really crappy. But, I don't see a law being broken. Maybe terms of service. But not a law.
illegal, no, showing a lack of class, yes.
This is America where you are free to say what you want, even if it was mean, untruthful, or anything thats basically not a threat.
no what you said wasn't illegal, even if it was downright nasty. If you knew the kind of despair that some people go through when they have abortions or miscarriages you would never had said it. I hope that this type of grief will never touch your life and that you will find some empathy for those who suffer it.
If someone was really tracing your messages I believe that would be illegal, and the FBI have surely got better things to do than to chase people who are saying nasty things on yahoo (although the administrators may block you).
No not if you didn't do those things in the first place. What's the FBI got to do with it anyway other than laugh in her face?
stupid maybe nut not illegal, if that person contacts you again simply tell her to kiss your butt and report her for harassment and threatening you on freelawanswer.com .
How does it feel to be under the gun, you puke! I do sincerely hope they succed in tracking you down, and then place you in a cell next to BUBBA, who hasn't had any in about 6 months... Maybe YOU will miscarry and drop his load in your pants when he's done with you!
if its not then it should be. you horrible demented twisted sick piece of ??

just remember what comes around goes around
no, just forget about it
Twisted? Yes. Illegal? Probably not. You are still protected by the First Amendment unless you made threatening or otherwise harmful comments to someone else. Something that would be classified as a terroristic threat.
you've got nothing to worry about (trust me), though you probably need to take up a hobby to prevent your doing naughty things when you're so 'bored'.

its not your fault if people are taking serious medical and gynaecological advice from some bloke (ie you) having a laugh on the web, is it?

if anything they ought to be reported in order to reduce the possibility of future harm to their children due to their apparently unshakeable belief in health advice taken from the world wide web.
