Have you ever been thrown in jail for something you didn't do?
Answers:
Yes, actually an amusing story.
I was arrested, held overnight, transferred to another county at the other end of the state, held overnight again -- and then the realized that the warrant was invalid and the issue had already been resolved (in my favor) years before.
I call it amusing -- because otherwise I'd have to be outraged.
no
Nope. I've never been thrown in jail at all. The only friends I have who've been thrown in jail committed the crime for which they were arrested--failure to pay multiple tickets, or writing bad checks, or driving with a weapon in the car.
No I havnt but if you go to a prison and ask the inmates if they are innocent they will all probably say they are.
Never been in jail. I was accused of cheating on a test that I didn't. What I was doing was writing a bit of original graffitti on the test board. "far better than any notes I took, was doing the homework from the book." Really irritating. That and watching our bureaucracy and legal system at work have made me a real hard sell as far as convicting anybody when called to jury duty.
At the time yes I did go to jail for something I did NOT do. However when I got out I made damn sure I did it.
I was accused of kicking down a dead bolted door and beating the hell out of a female. Of course when I did finally do it I didn't kick down her door (98 lbs at the time lol come on ppl) I just kicked her butt.
Damn Public Defender telling me to plea no contest. I was young and didn't know any better.
never been in jail
