I was working for Fuego -Tapas bar and restaurant for 7 days (87hours !) in November 6th till 14th.?

I have asked the owner for a contract but he said I should not worry as he will pay me.
I have left the job due to the abusive, agressive and rude behaviour of the owner but I am still trying to get my money.
The owner is postponing the meeting and avoiding me, what can I do and who can help me to get paid. It's been about 6 months already. When I call him he shouts and swears a lot.
I would really appreciate your help.

Answer:
First, the better busines bureau has no authority at all. Second, in what state is the restaurant located?

if its the fuego in brandon, florida hit me up.i'll get your money for you...maybe even double ;-)

im serious
Call the better business bureau. Or a local labor board. If possible you will need to get notification that you actually worked there either from a supervisor or a fellow staff member without it you may be stuck.

Let it me a lesson, no contract, no work.
