How do you feel about THE RIGHT TO BARE ARMS?
This was written at a time when people had to hunt for their food. If not military or law enforcement, people don't need hand-guns. People are very selfish in wanting guns.
Answers:
I think that guns are slightly overrated. They should add some clause that gives us the right to bear chainsaws. They're pretty heavy. That might cut down on some violence anyway just because people with minimal upper body strength wouldn't be able to wield them very well.
Bare arms?
I have no objection to either short-sleeve shirts or tank tops.
If we didn;'t have guns how would Cheney shoot people in the face?
You mean Bear arms.It was also written at a time when America had no standing arm, only a militia
By your spelling, my answer would be I think sleeveless shirts are great, especially in the summer. Or did you mean bear arms?
I believe its a necessary thing. Protection is a must. Unfortunately people use that right the wrong way and innocent people end up dead. So its a plus and negative.
Because if there are no guns then knives will be use and more brutality will be
but plus anyways guns will be smuggled in anyways
It's their choice, obviously if the correct precautions are made then it's up to the individual.
There is a background check for those who wants to obtain a firearm... and if the person passes the background check, let them have their guns.
I agree with both the right to bare arms and the right to bear arms.
Ha, learn to spell.
But really, I think if you want a gun and are qualified then why shouldn't you be able to have one? It can save your life in a dangerous situation.
If people want to bare their arms that¨s fine with me, especially if they are good looking chicks.
I bare my arms everyday. Shows my muscles better.
Gun-wise I always thought it was a coward's weapon. Any a**hole can pull a trigger. I have more respect for a person who does something face to face.
Sad story: Cutest boy you ever saw wanted to marry my niece. Always spoke about it and always had a book..
Unfortunately he was killed while reading a book when his friend played show and tell with the gun his mother had for "protection" Bullet went right thru the book and his chin.
I don't see how it protected my niece's future husband.
It's been years and I still remember him. I even told his niece about her uncle. He taught her to tie her shoes. Come on Gunlovers let's see you bring him back!! The little boy I walked to school
It's great. It would kinda suck having to wear long sleeves all the time.
But as far as bearing arms, your argument is lacking and fails to consider the one main reason (among others) that the founding fathers included the Second Amendment in the Federal Constitution, not to mention all the State Constitutions which include similar language assuring that 'the people' (which government is subject to) could not be disarmed by a tyrannical, or any other, government.
I have more guns then I can possibly carry at one time. I have had guns or access to them since I was old enough to go hunting with my dad. My first job was on a skeet range.
I have never robbed a liquor store or seen a gun go off spontaneously and shoot someone.
Theoretically I could own a freaking nuclear bomb and the world would not be in anymore danger then it is now.
Liberals need to realize that the real problem is criminals not the tools they use. For crying out loud, there is no drive to outlaw ski masks because people use those in robberies. Maybe we should do that too. I have had it up to my gun totting arms with this issue.
The Constitution did not CREATE the right, it only PROTECTS the right from being infringed by Congress. It is axiomatic that anyone may use force to protect themselves from attack, but the Founding Fathers thought it worth mentioning in the Bill of Rights, in case anyone forgot.
Do you need a license or background check to exercise your First Amendment right of free speech? What if Congress passed a law stating that all internet websites need to be first reviewed for national security reasons prior to going live? Why are Second Amendment rights somehow less valuable?
Which college? Really, "bare arms"? I mean, if you've got the bicieps/triceps/delts for it, why not? This is Malibu, after all.
The "bear" is on our state flag and those of us who work out "bare" our arms. Hot babes "bare" much more, especially on the beach.
Actually, it (second amendment right to bear arms) had nothing to do with hunting for food. It had to do with the national and/or state militia---today's National Guard.
