Is this legal?
Short story myself and my husband have been separated for 2 years now. Are friends and he is an excellent father. Two boys one is 16 and the other is 13. 13 year old is to old to be in the daycamp in the area or afterschool care. He has adhd and learning problems. Can not be left alone for more than a few yours. His father and my schedule are different but the landlord where I live at says he cannot come over everyday. That I am in violation of the lease, is that true and is there anything I can do about this. I live in a section 8 building.

Short answer: no, it's not legal.
Long answer: Go back and read your lease, but I doubt that any landlord can prevent a parent, or even a babysitter, to stay in the home to care for your children -- particularly a child with special needs. If your ex was disruptive or doing something illegal, then the landlord would obviously have the right to prohibit him from entering the property, but other than that, the landlord can't decide who you have in your home. If he tries to evict you for it, you can obviously contest it in court and you would win.
Call the section 8 office and report him for threatening you.
You have to look at your lease.
If you live on the government dole (or even partial dole) then you have to follow the government rules.
If your ex is such an excellent father then why is he allowing his children to be on government assistence?
